Pastor Dorian Cast
Pastor Dorian E. Cast, a native of Southfield, Michigan, is on a mission to encourage, empower and motivate a generation. Shortly after finishing college in 2002 he acknowledged God’s call to the ministry and began reaching out to young people everywhere.
The 5th of 6 children, Pastor Cast was born in Detroit MI. At an early age his family moved to Southfield MI, a nearby suburb of Detroit where he attended Birmingham public schools and would later attend Olivet College where he studied Biology and Organic Chemistry. The son of a Bishop, Pastor Cast’s whole life has been spent on the front lines of the struggle for change both in individual lives and whole communities. This struggle for change has exposed him to the struggles of communities in the deepest of poverty in the inner city, to communities of great affluence, as well as those torn by racism.
Drawing from his diverse background Pastor Cast is said to have “God given insight well beyond his years.” He has parlayed his unique experiences into a perspective that speaks to an entire generation; which has allowed him to deliver his passionate and articulate message to wide ranging venues, from youth groups and churches to universities and high schools. Pastor Cast is the Assistant Pastor at LAM Christian Church in Warren, MI where Bishop Adolphus Cast is the Senior Pastor. He is married to Jaleasha Cast and they have 5 children.
